The first month of school can be overwhelming for all teachers (not just new teachers) A negative side effect of modern educational accountability is the adoption of many instructional initiatives, plans and ideas. Sometimes teachers are inundated with ideas, often one right after another. It is critical for teachers to make key decisions about those which will most effectively lead to greater student achievement.
There is no greater vocation than teaching. In fact, I consider it an honor to be called “teacher”. I want to wish you the best as you develop in the profession and “earn” the title “Teacher”.
